Our Board

Lori Covington is co-founder and Director of ACM. She is an RN with 32+ years of experience who recently retired in order to pursue volunteer and service opportunities. Lori lives in Colleyville, TX with her husband Ben. She and Ben have done mission work in both Belize and Thailand, before discovering a love for the people of Tanzania.

Ben Covington is co-founder and secretary/treasurer of ACM’s board. He is a board-certified family physician, and currently works as an emergency physician in the north Tarrant area. He is married to Lori, and together they have 3 daughters.

Brandon Bell has served as youth minister at Lake Cities Church of Christ since the spring of 2011. Brandon and his beautiful wife Heather have two precious little girls named Maci and Molly. Brandon has a passion for mission and service. He joined the ACM board in 2015.

Karen Black also joined the ACM board in 2015. Karen serves as Administrator of Lake Cities Church of Christ, and her husband Steve is an elder there. Karen and Steve had two children and recently became grandparents to Carson. Karen is active in the homeless ministry at Lake Cities, as well as being a mentor to the youth there. Karen joined the ACM board in 2015.

Rebekah Caffey is a retired schoolteacher and stay at home mom to Hannah and Adam. She and her husband Drew have a love for mission, especially in Haiti, and both serve on the Missions Committee of Lake Cities Church of Christ. They are currently hoping to adopt through fostering. Rebekah joined the ACM board in 2015.

Lora McGinn recently retired after teaching kindergarten for 34 years. She is married to Dick, who serves as an elder at Lake Cities Church of Christ. Although it was hard to leave teaching after so long, Lora is enjoying getting to spend a lot of time with her grandson, Max. Lora joined the ACM board in 2015.
